NEO obtained the Origine France Garantie for their rucksacks and paragliding harnesses

Founded in 2013 by Eric Roussel, NEO has been committed to a local and responsible manufacturing approach from the very beginning, from its workshop located on the shores of Lake Annecy. Approved by Savoie Mont Blanc Excellence*, the brand has gradually established itself as a well-known player in the field of paragliding equipment. Building on its expertise, NEO has expanded its scope of activity by launching a range of technical backpacks in 2022.

NEO stands out as the only company to manufacture technical backpacks in France, a specificity that demonstrates a strong commitment to maintaining and promoting local know-how. A commitment that is now rewarded by obtaining the prestigious Origine France Garantie certification, awarded at the Made in France Expo. This certification, the only recognition to guarantee the French origin of products, was awarded to two product ranges: backpacks and paragliding harnesses.

A clear certification to guarantee product traceability.

Created in 2011, the Origine France Garantie certification aims to defend and promote products made in France. It helps consumers in their choices by giving them clear and transparent information on the origin of the products. It is still today the only universal certification to guarantee the French origin of products thanks to an audit carried out by independent certification bodies. It differentiates from “Made in France” for its high level of requirements.

To obtain the certification, two cumulative criteria must be met:

50% to 100% of the unit cost price of the product must be acquired in France,
the product must take on its essential characteristics in France (i.e. all the processing stages must be carried out on the territory)
