Axel Deambrosis, under his pseudonym Instinct Sauvage, is an extreme adventurer. He sets off alone to experience the most remote places:
crossing the Sahara via the west coast, descending the Oyapock River in the Amazon, surviving a 20-hour sandstorm in the Sahara, crossing China on foot, and spending 36 days in survival mode in the Pyrenees. “The terrain constantly puts my equipment to the test. I was immediately impressed by the quality of the materials used and the weight of NEO backpacks.” Like the Free Man that NEO represents, Axel sets out to discover the teachings of peoples who live in isolation in the desert, such as the Berbers of Mauritania and the Tuaregs of southern Algeria, or to study botany with the Bedouins of Jordan. Since 2023, Axel has been hired by travel agencies to guide groups around the world: Namibia, China, Tibet, Nepal, Japan, Indonesia, etc. His passion for China and his knowledge of Mandarin allow him to lead tours lasting several weeks, such as the journey from Beijing to Kathmandu, the crossing of Tibet, and the tour of Mount Kailash.
