On May 8, our NEO ambassadors, Laurie Genovese, Maxime Pinot and Tim Alongi met up to take part in the Gofrêtes and test the new NEO technical backpack, the Taillefer D.

The principle of Gofrêtes is simple: walk as fast as you can with your paragliding equipment to the Col des Frêtes and enjoy a waffle at the summit from the Grands Espaces in Talloires, before flying back down together. That’s just over a kilometre vertically, but with a paraglider on your back.

The first of our ambassadors to enjoy his waffle was Maxime Pinot who finished the climb in 00:51:34 in 3rd place, followed by Tim Alongi in 01:02:36 in 18th place and Laurie Genovese who finished first woman in 01:07:50!
